Easy Carrot Cake recipe


225g castor sugar
1/2 cup cooking oil
225g grated carrot
2 eggs
259g self raising flour


  • Pre heat the oven to 190 degrees celcius
  • Mix sugar, carrot, eggs and oil in a bowl
  • Fold in the flour
  • Pour mixture into an 8 inch loose bottomed cake tibake in the oven for 50 minutes
  • Decorate with vanilla flavoured butter icing
